Who we are. GI JI is sold by GI JI Agency, Skopje, North Macedonia. Contact: support@giji.agency.

What you buy. GI JI Personal is a lifetime, one-time software licence for one person. One payment. Every update to GI JI is included. It permits activation on one computer at a time; you can deactivate that computer in the app and activate another. If the old computer is unavailable, contact support@giji.agency for help releasing the old activation. The Free edition is a real, time-unlimited trial limited to 20 documents and 3 active Working Knowledge notes. There is no subscription.

What GI JI is — and is not. GI JI is a private-first knowledge tool: it searches material you import and, when source support exists, drafts answers with inspectable citations for your review. Open may instead provide clearly marked general context without citing it to your documents. It is not legal, medical, or financial advice; answers can be wrong; you remain responsible for verifying anything you rely on. Owner-validation markers record YOUR verification, not an external guarantee of truth.

Your content. Your documents stay where you keep them. When you point GI JI at a file or folder, it reads that material in place. The index, notes, rulebook, and backups GI JI builds sit inside the GI JI folder. You are responsible for having the right to import the material you use.

Connected AI (optional). Setting up a key contacts OpenAI to list the models available to that account. Connected AI is off until you switch it on. Before it writes anything for you, GI JI stops, shows you what it wants to send, and waits for you to approve that one request. You can keep the API key for the current session or choose to remember it on this computer. A remembered key is stored in data/connected.json inside the GI JI folder, excluded from GI JI backups, and removed when you choose Forget this key. OpenAI usage is billed by OpenAI to you under OpenAI's terms.

License activation. Activation and license verification use Freemius (our merchant of record / licensing service). Activation ties the license to a device identifier derived on your machine; you can deactivate a device in the app to move the license.

Refunds. 14-day money-back guarantee — email support@giji.agency within 14 days of purchase, for any reason, and we refund 100%. Your licence is released when the refund is issued.

Acceptable use. Don't redistribute, resell, or circumvent license enforcement; don't use GI JI to violate law or third-party rights.

Warranty & liability. GI JI is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law; our total liability is capped at the amount you paid. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (consumer statutory rights remain).

Governing law. The laws of North Macedonia. Disputes: contact support first — we solve most things fast.
